Our vision as specialists

Both trained gynecologists, what unites us the most is a strong friendship. With more than 10 years dedicated to women's health, we both ended up specializing in Assisted Reproduction. We wholeheartedly love our work, although facing the reality of infertility every day is not easy. For us, the relationship with our patients, from diverse backgrounds and realities, is very enriching. We feel very fortunate!

Our experience as patients

Yes, we are doctors... but we are also women, and like many, we had to go through a process of Assisted Reproduction. That was perhaps the most revealing of all. When we thought we had reached professional maturity, when we believed we knew everything necessary to do our job well, we had to take a walk on the other side, the side of those who sat in front of us in the consultation every day. And we realized the abyss that separates theory from reality and all the implications that a treatment has for a woman, a couple, or a professional in any field.

The reason for this project

We believe in a different Assisted Reproduction: One that does not infantilize patients, that adapts to women and their professional lives, not the other way around. We don't want to provide embellished statistics or sugar-coated explanations. Our goal is to help patients understand the process so they can make informed decisions. We want women and couples ready to face their treatment, and we want to accompany them always with respect, empathy, and honesty.

Our challenge: From Spain to the world

In many countries, Assisted Reproduction is difficult to access, not inclusive, or excessively expensive. For many people, this leaves only one alternative: to travel to another country to access what, from our point of view, should be the right to start a family. Fortunately, Spain has a very advanced healthcare system, and we want to make it accessible to everyone who needs it.

Conclusion

With this blog, we want people from other countries to also have a reliable source of information. Make their lives easier, extend a helping hand, creating content adapted to their situation and circumstances. That's why we write in three languages. Trust us, it's a real challenge! Communicating with our patients in a common language seems essential to us, so forgive us if you find spelling or grammar errors! We only hope that you find valuable content in this blog and that, for those who need it, it helps you navigate this path with a little more peace."
